CSK vs RR Match Prediction

CSK vs RR Match Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of 12th match of IPL 2019.

The 12th match of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals at Chennai. Tomorrow’s contest will be both the teams’ third match of IPL 2019. While CSK will be playing their second home match, RR will be playing their second match away from home.

Coming on the back of a couple of victories against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals, Super Kings would be looking to continue their winning momentum. On the other hand, Royals would be desirous of maiden victory in IPL 2019.

CSK vs RR – What numbers suggest?

Going by the Head-to-Head statistics of both the teams, one observes that Chennai have a better record against Rajasthan. Out of 20 matches played between them, CSK have won 12 while RR have only won eight. Talking about the six matches which CSK and RR have played at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, the hosts have won five while the visitors have won only a single match.

With CSK’s average score of 163 against RCB being more than RCB’s average score of 155 against SRH, the hosts have another advantage as far as numbers are concerned.

CSK vs RR – Paper value

The first match at Chennai received a lot of flak from both the captain in Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli because of the sluggish nature of the pitch. If a similar pitch prevails tomorrow, knowing the conditions better is most likely to aid CSK. However, toss will become a crucial factor in such a situation.

Captain Dhoni’s tendency to change the fortune of the game on his side with both his captaincy and batting give the the hosts another reason to secure victory tomorrow. Therefore, Chennai Super Kings would be confident of banking on these numbers in association with momentum to register third IPL 2019 victory tomorrow.
