CSK vs SRH Head to Head Records and Stats

CSK vs SRH Head to Head: The Sportsrush presents before you the Head to Head statistics for 41st match of IPL 2019.

Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad is an encounter which always indulges a massive viewer base given the identity of the rivalry between the two sides and Tuesday’s encounter promises to be no different.

With word-class players like Kane Williamson, David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, MS Dhoni, Faf du Plessis and plying their goods, it is an encounter that has all the ingredients of being an emphatic clash.

While CSK have been halted in their resounding form with the two defeats, they still sit pretty at the top with 14 points from 10 games, just the solitary win away from asserting a top 4 finish.

On the other hand, the two wins on the bounce have reinvigorated SRH’s season and they’ll be looking to build on that momentum and further add to their 10 points from the 9 matches.

Enduring a torrid time against the Chennai Super Kings in 2018, Sunrisers Hyderabad gave their supporters something to cheer for finally with a delightful 6 wicket win against CSK earlier last week.

Restricting the visiting side to 132/5 with all their bowlers chipping in with wickets, Bairstow (61*) and Warner (50) ensured the chase was navigated without any hurdles to take SRH to a comfortable win in 16.5 overs.

In IPL 2018, CSK completely decimated SRH, toying around with them. They not only defeated them in the two group stage matches but followed it up with a win in the qualifier before another comprehensive win in the final. In a low scoring encounter in the first knock-out match the two played in, SRH almost managed to defend the 139 run target set by them before a 5-ball 15* knock from Shardul Thakur took them to a 2 wicket win.

The final was as one-sided as they get with Shane Watson’s 117* (57) making a mockery of what was supposed to be a tricky ask for CSK. Despite reaching 178-6 with contributions from the top to the bottom, lead by orange cap winner Kane Williamson, CSK had no problems in seeing past the chase to an 8 wicket win.
