United were handed a penalty but squandered it when Rashford hit the post. Just when you decided to give up on the team, there was Daniel James who scored the equaliser. With 5 minutes extra time added, Fans were rejuvenated. We can win! They assumed. However, the Eagles had other ideas.

In typical United fashion, Captain David De Gea failed to hold on to a ball that slipped past him to find the back of the net.

Manchester United’s campaign has once again promised the moon and the stars only to come crashing down like a pilotless plane. Solskjaer and his boys need to get their act together. This may still be early days but failure to step on the gas now may prove very costly later in the league.
