DC vs KXIP Match Prediction

DC vs KXIP Match Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of 37th match of IPL 2019.

The 37th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab at Delhi. With both Delhi and Punjab tied at 10 points after five wins this season, the winner of the match will take the lead as far as The Top Four in the points table are concerned.

Out of the four matches which DC have played at the Feroz Shah Kotla this season, they have won only one and lost the other three. While they have done exceedingly well away from home, them not being able to win their home matches is a serious concern for them.

With Punjab losing three out of four away matches played this season, Delhi would be fancying their chances tonight.

DC vs KXIP – What numbers suggest?

In the 23 matches which Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab have played against each other, Delhi have won nine as compared to Kings XI’s 14 victories. Talking about the 10 matches played at the Feroz Shah Kotla, both the teams have won five matches each.

Other then DC and KXIP having equal number of victories at Kotla, there is another stat which lies between between both the team. As far as the average score against each other is concerned, the teams of the Northern derby have both have an average score of 140 against each other.

DC vs KXIP – Paper value

In terms of the playing XI is concerned, Kings XI captain Ravichandran Ashwin has made some surprising calls. While he has backed his decision with desired results, Punjab still lack behind on comparison with Delhi merely on paper.

Given KXIP’s overall record against DC, the visitors would be backing themselves ahead of the all-important clash. However, despite Delhi having a poor home record and Punjab having a poor away record, it calls for a thriller tonight. While both of the teams are also better at defending than chasing a total, the team which bats first will be the favourites tonight.
