DC vs MI Dream 11 team Prediction: IPL Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for DC vs MI as The SportsRush helps you form the best Dream 11 team

Delhi Capitals have momentum on their side going into this tricky fixture against the Mumbai Indians at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Thursday night at Delhi.

MI’s campaign has been a topsy-turvy one until now, as they haven’t been able to get a lot of momentum behind themselves, with stray losses here and there. However, in their last game they ensured that RCB did not get some momentum going for themselves, as a Hardik Pandya masterclass at the end ensured that MI got back to winning ways.

DC have won 3 on the trot and will be hoping that their players can regroup and keep that momentum going.

Let’s get to business now.

DC vs MI Dream 11 team Prediction

Wicketkeeper for DC vs MI Dream 11

For the wicketkeeping slot, it is going to be a straight shootout between Rishabh Pant and QDK. Now, both these batsmen have had their fair share of runs this season, but QDK has been a little more consistent. Moreover, QDK opens the batting and gets the best possible opportunity to rack up some runs.

Also, with DC drafting Colin Munro in, Pant could be dropped to number 5 in the batting order, thereby reducing his ‘fantasy potential’.

Bowlers for DC vs MI Dream 11

Now, Kotla does have a sticky surface, one that could assist the spinners,  but with both DC and MI not having any world class spinner in their side, I might just go in with three bowlers who are certain to bowl at the death.

And we have three of the finest death bowlers in the IPL featuring on Thursday in Delhi. Bumrah and Malinga have been brilliant servants for MI and have always brought their best to the fore at the death. With their brilliantly disguised slower one’s, they should be able to help themselves to a few wickets.

For the final bowling pick for this game, I get in DC’s best death bowler, Kagiso Rabada, who was able to contain even the mighty Andre Russell. He has been bowling brilliantly at the death and should pose some problems to that mighty MI lower order to. Get him in.

All-Rounders for DC vs MI Dream 11

Hardik Pandya is the most important player for MI in this setup, as he has time and again helped the Mumbai Indians get some extra runs at the death, with his sublime stroke making. He has also stepped up with the ball whenever needed and already has 215 Dream 11 points to his name. Get him in at all costs.

For the final all-rounder pick, I would be getting in the ever so dependable Chris Morris, be it with the bat or the ball. Morris has been brilliant with the ball at the death for DC, nailing in those yorkers and putting the brakes on the scoring rate and also chipping in with a few wickets. Coming in at 6 with the bat, Morris can also use the long handle to good effect. His brilliant dual role in the DC setup is enough to warrant him a place in my side.

Batsmen for DC vs MI Dream 11

The first two batsmen that I get in for this game are India’s openers for the 2019 ICC World Cup. Dhawan has struck form recently and will be looking to carry that forward with the impending World Cup. Against a team that doesn’t quite have the quality spinners to trouble him, Dhawan should be able to help himself to a good enough score.

Rohit Sharma has been getting starts in the last two games and will be hoping to get back to his best ahead of the World Cup. With Rohit opening the batting this season, you should pick him in every game, as it is only a matter of time before he ticks off and wins a game on his own for MI.

Shreyas Iyer and Prithvi Shaw will be the next two players that I get into my side for this game. Opening the batting, Prithvi Shaw gets to use the powerplay to good effect and has been doing so in every game for DC. He missed out on a century early on in the season and would be hoping to get another chance at that milestone. Get him in.

Shreyas Iyer has been controlling things with the bat for DC in the middle phase and has been doing so brilliantly. Playing the anchor’s role, Iyer beautifully fits into my team too, as strike rate isn’t a big factor in the Dream 11 points system.

For the final batting pick, I get in Suryakumar Yadav, who has played those small cameos at number 3. Why I opt for him over Kishan or Pollard is because he bats higher up and has better chance at influencing the game and stacking up those fantasy points.
