Do Flash Games Still Work? Here is how you can play Flash Games in 2021!

Do Flash Games Still Work : Adobe has officially killed Flash Player as of 31st December 2020 and web browsers will be removing flash support soon enough.

Flash is the last victim claimed by 2020. However, it is possible to play your childhood favorite games online. Read on to find out how!

How to Play Flash Games Now?

Armor Games to the rescue

Due to the rising popularity of HTML5 being used to make web games, Flash began to become obsolete. In 2017, Adobe announced that they would pull the plug on Flash, and the end of 2020 was the End-of-Life (EOL) for the Player.

As Flash is being killed, Armor games have resorted to using a flash emulator, known as Ruffle, that will allow you to play Flash games beyond 2020. However, as the launcher being used isn’t exactly flash, some games will not work at first and will be temporarily disabled on January 12, 2021. Click here to check out Armor Games!

Armor Games currently offers more than 3,700 flash games dating back to 2007.

There are other solutions as well!

An offline option to experience Flash Games is through BlueMaxima’s Flashpoint Software. Flashpoint offers over 70,000 games available to play and can be downloaded off the internet.

The software is available in two versions: Flashpoint Ultimate 9.0 and Flashpoint Infinity 9.0. The Ultimate version has a file size of about 478 GB that expands to 532 GB after being extracted. Whereas the Infinity Version is far lighter and will only consume about 500MB of downloading and 2 GB of file space upon being extracted.

As you can probably guess, Infinity will not give you offline access to all the 70,000 game animations from the get-go. To do that, you will have to download the game off the internet first. Other differences between the versions are that Ultimate 9.0 can be updated using the Flashpoint Ultimate Updater. Infinity 9.0 can only be updated after reinstalling the launcher. Also, Logos and screenshots will have to be downloaded in Infinity whereas this is not the case with Ultimate.

Flashpoint also offers over 8,000 Flash Animations that will be accessible on the software. The software offers a portable environment for the games and animations so that they won’t be affected by the EOL.
