Dota 2 DPC News: Dota 2 Hero Guides; How to play Huskar in Jungle role? In last night’s DPC CIS region, Virtus.Pro decided to experiment with the current meta. Read more about how they drafted a Huskar in the jungle role & created something brilliant.

In Game 2 against No Techies, Virtus.Pro opened the draft with a nasty combo of Oracle and Huskar. Aparently, VP captain Vitalie “Save-” Melnic has been practicing playing Huskar in the Jungle role for a few days. He even made a deal with his team that he would play the same hero in the same role if they won Game 1 against No Techies and that’s exactly what happened.

The Huskar Oracle pick was followed up with a Core Bounty Hunter, a safe-lane QoP and a mid-lane Kunka. However, the Huskar jungle was the start of the show. Read more about how Save- played the hero, and how you can also practice this a few times before stomping your pubs with this build. As a bonus, it also allows you to do Roshan pretty early in the game.

Right now, VP have gotten a spot in DPC Season 1 Major. In last night’s series, VP outplayed No Techies in the second game, and the latter called GG in 15 -min.

Dota 2 Hero Guide: How to Jungle with Huskar

So, here is the trick to playing Huskar in the Jungle. You have to start with a quelling blade and a gloves of attack. Your first item is going to be the armlet of Mordiggian. In last night’s game, Save- managed to get the fastest Armlet of this patch just by clearing Jungle camps, and you can do it too.

After the armlet, he proceeded to do Roshan before the 10-min mark. However, due to a couple of lucky bashes when he was low HP, he died. But, VP gathered around the pit, picked of No Techies, who tried to take advantage of a low Roshan, only to fall to VP. Save respawned, picked up the Aegis & proceed to annihilate No Techies in the next 10 minutes.
