England Vs USA Dream11 Prediction: The SportsRush brings you the Dream11 prediction between England and the USA.
The Semi-Finals of the Women’s World Cup commences with a cracker of a match when the United States take on England in the Parc Olympique Lyonnais tomorrow. Both teams have looked rather unstoppable thus far winning all their games. They also had a similar group stage record where they scored many goals and conceded none. However, both have faced strong opposition in the knock-out fixtures of the tournament.
The USA are unbeaten in 15 games in the World Cup and are firm favourites in this tie.
England Vs USA Dream11 Team
Alyssa Naeher: The American shot-stopper is my choice of the keeper for the game. She’s kept 3 clean sheets in the tournament, being on top of her game and making match rescuing saves. Naeher is one of the best keepers in the tournament and will have to be at her best against a strong English attack.
Kelley O’Hara: A winger by trait, Kelley plays as a fullback for her national team and has done justice to that position. She’s fast, difficult to beat and can cross better than most. She has one assist in the tournament, creating USA’s opening goal of the tournament.
Abby Dahlkemper: Abby is a pillar of defence for her team. She’s shown her pace and strength on many occasions in the tournament. The centre half is the only player apart from Naeher who has started all games for USA.
Millie Bright: Bright is a defensive midfielder who also functions as a CB. She’s started 4 out of 5 games in the tournament and is a very good passer of the ball. She’s strong and get the work done at defence with effeciency.
Lucy Bronze: The English fullback has been easily been one of the if not the best rightback of the tournament. She’s been directly involved in 3 goals in 5 starts, scoring once and assisting twice. Lucy has given 9 key passes and has a 100% tackle productiveness.
Nikita Parris: Nikita plays for what is inarguably the best club in women’s football and shows the same level of experience and quality. She’s started 4 games has played in all 5. The 25 year old is one of the best dribblers in the world and has given one goal and one assist in the competition.
Francesca Kirby: Kirby is a striker who has been playing as an AM/SS for England in the World Cup. Playing her there has been extremely productive for the team. It gives Ellen White a chance to start ahead of her and for Kirby to create goal scoring chances she’s so good at.
Jill Scott: The Manchester City central midfielder has been nothing short of class in the Cup. She’s been oozing flair in every game and to top that off, Jill has shown amazing defensive work ethic. She’s scored 1 goal in 5 starts for England and is a threat for the American defence.
Lindsey Horan: Starting American defensive midfielder in the tournament, Horan is an AM/Winger by characteristic. She plays so deep to give her team an attacking option from deep, which has worked well for them. The 25 year old has 2 goals and an assist to her name for USA.
Megan Rapinoe(C): My captain for the matchup, Rapinoe is playing at the absolute peak of her career and has captained USA in 3 of the 5 matches. She’s been directly involved in 14 goals in her 16 games in the Women’s World Cup. Rapinoe has scored 2 consecutive braces in the tournament, one each against Spain and France. She has a total of 5 goals and 2 assists in 4 games and is next to unplayable in the form she’s in. Best player in the 2019 Women’s World Cup by far. Easily.
Alex Morgan(VC): USA’s striker is my second attacker and my vice captain. The #13 opened her World Cup account this year by scoring 5 goals and giving 3 assists against Thailand in the first game but hasn’t scored since. However, a player of Morgan’s quality can never ever be ruled out of a match like this.
