The English team has made a couple of changes before the last and the deciding ODI against India. While David Malan and Sam Curran have been released James Vince has been called as a replacement for the third and the final match to be played at Leeds.

It would be the decider of the ODI series as it is level at 1-1 and whoever wins the match at Leeds would walk away with the trophy. There was a similar scenario in the T20I series when India won the 1st T20I on the back of brilliant performances from Kuldeep Yadav and KL Rahul.

While the 2nd T20I at Cardiff was lost by India, they bounced back in the third and the final T20I to win the T20I series. Many are speculating for a similar result in the ODI series as well.

India may consider this a one off blip and bounce back with all their firepower in the last ODI at Leeds. David Malan has been released from the ODI squad and is now available to play for the England lions.

The lions are set to play a four day test against India A. This will also include players like Chris Woakes and Nick Gubbins who can consider this as their chance for staking their claim for the Test team which will be facing India from 1st August.

Sam Curran will also feature in the England side while Surrey captain Rory Burns will lead the side. It will be a big challenge for Karun Nair and his men.

The good news for India though is that James Anderson and Stuart Broad are still struggling from a few niggles and are not a certainty. Even if they make it, it cannot be said for sure that they will be able to feature in all the five Tests.
