Erling Haaland gives reply to PSG players who mocked him by imitating yoga pose

Erling Haaland replies to PSG players, which included Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, who tried to mock him by copying his goal celebration.

In the Champions League’s Round of 16 when PSG eliminated Borussia Dortmund, Neymar raised eyebrows when he copied Erling Haaland’s yoga pose celebration after the Brazilian scored a goal.

Haaland was the biggest nightmare for the French giants in the first leg and this was probably the reason why PSG players were irked and found the smallest opportunity to get back at him.

This imitation went off the pitch too, when PSG players were caught doing the same antics in their dressing room too, which also caused a huge backlash.

At that time Haaland kept quiet but weeks after the tie, the Norweigan has revealed what he felt about it as he stated that the PSG players have helped him spread the message of doing meditation.

“I think they helped me a lot to get meditation out in the world and to show the whole world that meditation is an important thing so I’m thankful that they helped me with that,” Haaland was quoted as saying by ESPN.

Haaland gained prominence after he gave sensational performances in the Champions League for Salzburg, including his performance at the Anfield.

Soon he got various offers across all the clubs from Europe and he decided to go to Borussia Dortmund, where he started off with an explosive start. Haaland netted 12 times in 11 appearances for Dortmund to get off to a flying start at the Signal Iduna Park.

“It’s been a very good start and from my debut, I’ve been enjoying it a lot and smiling a lot and these kind of things and that’s what’s most important about my life, to smile a lot and this kind of things. So, yeah, that’s what I try to do the most,” he said.
