Ocon sends out a wonderful message to Lance Stroll

Esteban Ocon finds himself in a very uncomfortable position in his motorsport career, as despite being one of the most promising young drivers on the circuit, he might not be in Formula 1 altogether next year.

The entire Force India saga led to the team being forced into administration, a move that was triggered by Sergio Perez, keeping in mind the interests of everyone attached with the team.

A Lawrence Stroll led consortium brought Force India out of administration, but with Stroll arriving at the helm of affairs at Force India, the driver market was dealt with a massive shake up.

Lance Stroll’s move to Force India is almost done and dusted and Ocon is set to be the casualty, with Perez almost certain of retaining his Racing Point Force India seat.

Ocon has time and again stressed on the fact that the situation is not ideal but he is focussed on the job at hand and has an F1 contract until the end of the season.

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has also expressed concern over the sad state of affairs, wherein a super-talented driver like Ocon is being forced away from the sport.

However, Ocon is taking everything in his stride and has no hard feelings for Lance Stroll, who could very be the reason for Ocon not being in F1 in 2019.

Ocon came up with a brilliant post for his brother, Stroll, saying that despite coming from different backgrounds, both of them have the same passion for driving.

He urged the F1 fan community to be a little respectful towards Stroll, as he too has worked hard to get to his point in his life.

Ocon had a poor outing during the Singapore GP, with Perez ramming into him from the side and forcing him into the side barrier.

With the chips already down, Ocon would be hoping for a strong showing in Sochi, in a bid to somehow, somewhere find an F1 seat for 2019.

Ocon has admitted that a move to Williams could go through, but with the way the Williams car is setup for this year, it might be a move backwards for Ocon.

What does the future hold for Ocon?
