F1 Fan Claims Taylor Swift Would Have Preferred Dating Daniel Ricciardo Over Fernando Alonso

F1 fans around the world have been buzzing ever since rumors spread that two-time world champion Fernando Alonso could potentially be dating American pop star, Taylor Swift. The rumors of the two dating each other first emerged on Duexmoi, an anonymous gossip page on Instagram.

Since then, some Spanish websites have also reported that the two have been seeing each other for a week. While there is no certainty over these rumors, they have spread like fire all across social media.

What made these rumors gather even more steam is that Alonso himself responded to them. Even though many fans have been buzzing over these links, there is one fan who believes that Swift would have preferred to date Daniel Ricciardo over the Spanish driver.

Fernando Alonso teased fans with multiple posts on social media

Fernando Alonso seems to be enjoying the attention he is receiving on social media recently as he has teased his fans by directly addressing the dating rumors. Earlier in the day on April 24, the Spaniard put up two different posts about Taylor Swift.

In his first post, he put up Swift’s famous Karma song on his Tiktok account and ended the video with a wink. Soon after, he put up another post, where he said that he was ‘feeling 33’. While his second post is cryptic, the link that it has to Swift is that she is 33 years old.

Alonso previously dated F1 reporter Schagler

Before these rumors emerged of Fernando Alonso potentially dating Taylor Swift, the Spaniard previously was in a relationship with F1 reporter Andrea Schagler. The two dated each other for over a year before splitting up earlier this year.

Alonso and Schagler informed their fans about the same via an emotional Instagram post. Their post read, “We wanted to tell you that our relationship as a couple has ended. We have been lucky enough to have spent a fantastic time together, and it will continue to be so, but on a different form of affection”.
