Round 3 of the 2023 championship season is set to be held at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne this weekend. But what weather conditions will the drivers and teams face at Australian Grand Prix this weekend?
In the past two races, the drivers were met with hot and humid conditions – Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. But heading into this weekend, much lower temperatures are expected. On top of that, there is a chance of rain on all days of live action.
This would come as music to Lewis Hamilton’s ears as the Briton has been hoping for rain this weekend. With the poor-performing W14 which is still lengths away from Red Bull, Hamilton said that some rain would make the race interesting.
It’s game on between Max and Checo! 🔥💪

Things to know ahead of the race weekend
The first Australian Grand Prix was held in 1985 and has been a part of the calendar ever since except for the 2020 and 2021 seasons due to Covid-19. There used to be two locations in the down under that hosted the F1 event but ever since 1996, Albert Park, Melbourne has held up the baton for the event. The track is home to plenty of classic races.
Heading into 2023, the Australian GP once again brings a myriad of excitement for the fans as Red Bull’s domination continues in the current season. Meanwhile, Aston Martin has made great strides in its performance. Finding themselves on the back foot, Ferrari and Mercedes will try to improve their so far dismal performance at the third race of the season.
