70th Anniversary F1 GP 2020 Weather Forecast: What will be the weather conditions in Silverstone during the historic Grand Prix.

Formula 1 is set to organize the historic 70th anniversary Grand Prix at the Silverstone this weekend. The occasion marks the completion of 70 years of Formula 1 World championship.

This is a one-off event and will not be repeated ever in the future course, that is why it is special. The race comes after the British Grand Prix but the race will happen on the same venue- Silverstone.

Things went interesting in the last GP when both Mercedes’ cars faced punctures, but Lewis Hamilton still managed to win the race. On the other hand, Racing Point’s Sergio Perez is expected to return to his seat, though his COVID-19 results are still awaited.

The British Grand Prix witnessed many eliminations during the race, but none happened due to the harsh weather conditions. Rather the uneven track circumstances led to many drivers losing control of their cars.

It even forced Pirelli to initiate an investigation after 3 drivers faced punctures during the race. But weather conditions were favourable for drivers.

Considering the race is on the same track, the track situation might get better but one cannot control the weather except foretelling it. So what will be the weather conditions during this GP?

As per the Formula 1 website, the weather conditions for the following three days as follows. Except on the race day that too way before the race, there are minor chances of raining, except that it will remain sunny.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 – FP1 & FP2 WEATHER
Conditions: Steady weather. Hot and sunny day.
Maximum temperature expected: 30 Celsius
Chance of rain: 0%

SATURDAY, AUGUST 8 – FP3 & QUALIFYING WEATHER
Conditions: Mostly sunny day. Still hot.
Maximum temperature expected: 28 Celsius
Chance of rain: 0%

SUNDAY, AUGUST 9 – RACE WEATHER
Conditions: Light chance of drops in the morning with broken clouds. Frequent Sunny spells and dry in the afternoon.
Maximum temperature expected: 27 Celsius
Chance of rain: 20%
