After amassing $107,600 from fundraiser Nico Rosberg gave away his high-performance bike to random fan

Nico Rosberg never had the absence of luxury in his life. Being a son of a Formula 1 driver and then becoming one which successfully gave him his own mammoth level of personal wealth too.

Therefore, he never thought much before spoiling himself with flashy items. However, at the same time, he is a person who is involved in several charities and environmental conservatism.

In 2020, Rosberg initiated Project Fundraise, and a few months later, he updated that the project had raised around $107,600. Half of the amount went to Red Cross Italy and the remaining half to Project Nestwärme.

Nico Rosberg gives away his high-performance bike in return

After his followers raised a handsome sum for his project, Rosberg decided to appreciate one of the contributors. Out of all the people who donated, he picked a random lucky person from Germany and gave away his expensive high-performance motorbike.

The lucky winner travelled all the way from Germany to Monaco with his family when things got pretty normal for everyone in Europe to travel. Rosberg briefly introduced the motorbike and how to use it and specifically warned him about the powerful acceleration.

The fan, who goes by the name of Nils, said how overwhelmed he was to see the bike in person. He and his family posed with his new prized asset before leaving with Rosberg to see Monaco.

The F1 champion gave Nils a Monaco race track tour

The Monaco F1 circuit is the oldest street circuit in the F1 calendar. Its history is so long that it’s indispensable for the F1 schedule only because of that. Rosberg himself has raced over it for several years.

But on normal days, it’s like just another road. Nils and his family went on a circuit tour, and the former F1 champion gave them some trivia about the circuit.

He took them from the front of the famous Casino and then told them the marina in the circuit is called the billionaire’s mile. In the video’s end, the bike was delivered right to the doorstep of Nils with a sapling by Rosberg.
