To celebrate F1’s return to Las Vegas, McLaren CEO Zak Brown had a terrific idea to hype up the event. Brown has invited the Mercedes team principal and CEO, Toto Wolff, for a boxing match ahead of the inaugural Vegas GP.
The Mclaren boss didn’t just stop there. He has even challenged Red Bull’s Christian Horner for a race. Although both Horner and Wolff are yet to respond to the challenge, The prospect of seeing two F1 bosses face off on the race track or in the ring has excited everybody.
However, Daniel Ricciardo believes his former boss challenged the wrong people for the challenge. The Aussie claims he’d be putting money on the Austrian if the two team bosses stepped inside the ring.

Did Zak Brown get his challengers wrong?
Speaking with Dax Shepard at the ‘Eff won with DRS’ podcast, Daniel Ricciardo was asked if Zak Brown mixed up his opponents. The former McLaren driver agreed Toto Wolff would be a favourite between the two if they stepped inside the ring.
There are very few people who can match the aura surrounding the Mercedes boss. He has quite a fan following for being a complete man! He is tall, handsome, and well-spoken. Additionally, he led his team to 8-consecutive constructors’ championship wins and has a net worth of $1 Billion.
Daniel Ricciardo himself speaks highly of the Austrian. The Aussie claims Wolff to be one of the most interesting personalities in the paddock. He said, “If he is not the coolest then he is one of the coolest guys in the grid.”

Ricciardo even claims the Austrian is the ‘Alpha male’ of the grid. However, the 51-year-old rarely addresses his massive fan following. The Austrian believes it’s better to focus on managing his team, which he is great at.
Toto Wolff is also a good dancer
Dax Shepard reveals that in a conversation with Brad Pitt, the actor revealed that Toto Wolff is also a good dancer. This further adds to the enigma and image of the sharply dressed Austrian.
However, Daniel Ricciardo is yet to see the Mercedes boss shake a leg on the dance floor. Yet he’ll be pleased to share the dance floor with him. He said, “I am yet to see him move. However, it adds to the legend of Toto!”
When asked who are the best dancers on the F1 grid, Ricciardo points out that Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly are pretty good. The former McLaren driver claims even the Ferrari duo of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc have some moves. However, the Monegasque driver needs some more finesse.
