Fernando Alonso’s ex-girlfriend Andrea Schlager has recently taken to Instagram to share a cryptic message. The journalist uploaded a still from the renowned movie Titanic and combined it with an intriguing caption.
Schlager put the photo on the story and wrote, “Now I finally understand this scene.” However, this was not any ordinary or regular photo. The protagonists of the photo Jack and Rose from the movie were accompanied by two dogs.
Labrador Retriever by breed, the two dogs were sitting with Kate Winslet aka Rose on the floating door. Whereas Leonardo DiCaprio or Jack was in the freezing water of the Atlantic Ocean, as shown in the movie.
As things stand, is Schlager pointing out that Jack drowned because he was making space for two imaginary dogs? Or this was a cryptic message for his ex-boyfriend Alonso amid rumors with Pop sensation Taylor Swift? Well, only she knows.
F1 commentators used full use of the Alonso – Swift rumors
As the 2023 Azerbaijan Grand Prix went underway, the F1 commentators used this opportunity to bank on the Alonso-Swift rumor. The rumor that erupted during the temporary break, has made it all the way to Baku, as seen in a video released by ESPN F1.
As the commentators were commenting on drivers, especially the Asturian, they made sure they take all the references from Swift’s songs. Notably, it was David Croft and Karun Chandhok who brought out some brilliant lines.

From hailing Fernando Alonso for his “Swift” drive to bringing in “Could’ve, Would’ve Should’ve,” and “Don’t Blame Me“, the duo was on fire. Crofty also added references such as “Style“, and “Getaway Car,” to mentioning “Bad Blood” and “Blank Space“, it was all so surreal.
Alonso unhappy with Sainz
The Aston Martin star was reportedly been unhappy over his compatriot Carlos Sainz’s move to Baku. The Asturian has vented out his frustration after the conclusion of the Azerbaijan GP Sprint.
Speaking to the media as per Planet F1, Alonso said that the Ferrari driver put him into the wall at the entry of Turn 2. As a result, he had to lift off, and if he didn’t, both of them would’ve crashed.
Fernando Alonso also asked the FIA to take a look at the move. The two-time world champion shared that he hopes the governing body will have a look at the incident and take appropriate action.
