"Intended to give a portrait of Michael’s incomparable career" - Documentary titled 'Schumacher' completed highlighting life of Michael Schumacher

“Intended to give a portrait of Michael’s incomparable career” – Documentary titled ‘Schumacher’ has been completed, highlighting the life and times of the great Michael Schumacher.

“Schumacher’, a new documentary that focuses on the incredible life and career of Michael Schumacher is set for release. This after the movie sanctioned by the Schumacher family has been completed in full.

The production has been done by a firm run by Schumacher’s former manager Sabine Kehm. Kehm has included an exclusive interview by his wife Corinna Schumacher, and also his children. This, crucially, has been shot after the seven-time world champion suffered a horrific accident while skiing in December 2013. Schumacher has been in a comatose position ever since.

Covid-19 delayed the Michael Schumacher documentary

The documentary suffered delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with the release finally set to happen. The movie’s director Vanessa Noecker has confirmed this, speaking to the German daily Express. The global pandemic caused the cancellation/delays of a lot of movies across the board.

Kehm, the manager, gave a fitting description of the documentary. It “is intended to give a portrait of Michael’s incomparable career, but also the many facets of a complicated man”. Michael Schumacher was “the daredevil Formula 1 driver, the ambitious sportsman, the accomplished mechanic with a unique technical instinct, and loving father.”

Michael’s son Mick will make his Formula debut with Ferrari partner Haas this season, partnering with the Russian Nikita Mazepin. Their first race together will be the Bahrain Grand Prix instead of the traditional Australian Grand Prix, due to logistical problems arising out of the global pandemic.
