Zak Brown spent $50m to assemble a car collection worth $100m
According to the same report issued by Business F1, Zak Brown only spent $50 million to assemble a car collection that is worth in excess of $100 million. The report adds that all of the McLaren CEO’s cars are runners or in the process of being made into runners.
Brown himself is proud of his car collection as he said, “All the cars in the collection have won races, and all run.” His favorite among his collection is Ayrton Senna’s 1991 championship-winning McLaren-Honda MP4/6 car.
Speaking of it, Brown said, “It’s the crown jewel, it really ticks every box. I’ve had it for five years, and if I had to pick just one car from my collection, this would be it“.
However, this is not the only McLaren he owns, as the report states that he owns several of them. Brown, who has a staggering net worth of $120 million, as per mediareferee.com, bought all his McLaren cars directly from the factory when he was appointed the CEO of the team back in 2017.
McLaren CEO Brown’s car collection is a startling visual
McLaren CEO Zak Brown owns an astonishing number of luxurious cars. Some include a McLaren M8D, a Williams FW11B, a McLaren-Honda MP4/6, a 2008 Ferrari F430 Challenge, and a Porsche 959, among others.
This is not it, as Brown also includes two go-karts that Mika Häkkinen and Ayrton Senna previously owned. Since his collection of cars is stored in good lighting, it provides for a spectacular visual for the viewers who come to see it.
This huge collection of his luxurious cars is managed by Dickie Stanford with assistance from Paul Haigh, who previously ran Williams Heritage for the Williams F1 team. Considering how much Brown enjoys his hobby of collecting cars, he will have many more luxurious cars in his collection in the future.
