Just a month ago, Fernando Alonso was linked up with popstar Taylor Swift. The Aston Martin driver had recently announced his split with Austrian TV Presenter Andrea Schlager after dating for close to a year.
However, it seems Alonso has moved on and has a new love interest. The Spaniard is rumored to be in a relationship with DAZN F1 Presenter Melissa Jimenez after they were spotted in a car together.
The couple are yet to make their relationship official. However, Jimenez seemed eager to be in a relationship with the 2x world champion after breaking up with her former partner over text.

Melissa Jiminez was dating comedian Dani Martinez before heading toward Fernando Alonso. The two were in a relationship for almost a year and a half, but, Jiminez decided to call it quits.
The Spanish Page 3 News, 20 Minutes reported that Jiminez broke up with Martinez over Whatsapp when Alonso expressed his feelings. The Mamarazzi podcast even claimed that Martinez was hurt by the reporter’s cold-hearted breakup.

Recently, Alonso was photographed with a fan in Monaco in which the Spanish reporter was seen in the background. The two were spotted recently in a car driven by the 2x world champion. Neither Alonso nor Jimenez has addressed the rumor of their link-up.
The Aston Martin driver was previously dating another F1 reporter, Austrian Andrea Schlager. The pair split up in late March. The driver was also heavily linked to Taylor Swift in the past months, although it ended pretty quickly with Swift now dating renowned singer, Matty Healy.
Who is Melissa Jimenez?
Melissa Jimenez is a Spanish sports journalist who covers F1 races for the news outlet DAZN. The Spaniard has covered F1 since 2022, where she regularly interacted with Fernando Alonso.
She is the daughter of MotoGP engineer Antonio Jimenez and was raised on the outskirts of Barcelona. She has also covered MotoGP for 25TV, Marca, and Sky Italia, where she worked as head of press for the “Forward Racing” Moto2 team.
Jiminez was involved in a serious relationship with former FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund defender Marc Batra. The pair are parents to three children, two daughters and a son. Jimenez and Batra got engaged in 2016 and married in 2017 in Barcelona. In January 2022, the couple announced that they had separated.

Alonso too has had his fair share of past relationships. Alonso was previously married to Spanish singer Raquel del Rosario from November 2006 to December 2011. He was engaged to Spanish television presenter Lara Álvarez from 2015 to 2016. And later to Italian supermodel Linda Morselli from 2016 to 2021.
Alonso has stated that he wishes to get married and start a family once he retires from racing. However, it seems the 2x world champion is still looking out for his perfect teammate off the track.
