Nico Rosberg almost fails to control his $2 million car with 2000 hp in Monaco

Nico Rosberg at the end of 2022 got his Rimac Nevera hypercar delivered. He became the first buyer of one of the exclusive 150 cars that will be released by the company.

The car is as impressive as it can be. It has also left behind SF90 in terms of straight-line speed. So, Rosberg, who used to be an F1 driver, how could he resist shelling his money on this beast?

Before the delivery of his car, Rosberg had visited the headquarters of Rimac in Croatia the last summer. When he first put his glance at his new car, it was love at first sight, and after that Rosberg couldn’t be happier.

Nico Rosberg almost loses control of his hypercar

While his car is extraordinary, it has some dangerous capabilities, and Rosberg tried to test his car on a hill in Monaco. He wanted to drive his car in drift mode, so he drove the car up to a hill, and at a hairpin, he wanted to drift his car.

While setting his car on drift mode, Nevera optimized itself to its maximum horsepower of 2000. The German race driver as soon as made the drift, stopped himself midway.

He admitted that he was running out of ‘talent’ while doing the stunt. He accepted that he almost lost control of the car. Luckily, no harm to him or damage to the car happened.

Loses keys to the car

Rosberg since long has been talking about his new hypercar for a while. He looks lowkey obsessed with his car, and also released his last three YouTube videos either covering his car or featuring it.

However, in his last video where he is giving his top five rankings of the season, he is seen missing the keys inside the car. For a while, he couldn’t access the car for a while, until someone assisted him to get the second key.

In the video, it was also seen that Rosberg is highly possessive of his new car too. The 37-year-old spotted a crane lifting some goods right past his car. He was worried about the vehicle dropping weight on his brand-new Nevera.

He didn’t lose sight of it until his car was safe. Surely, a car so exclusive and expensive, no matter how rich one becomes would get worried.
