The announcement of Las Vegas GP has created a lot of hype among fans. Following the excitement, F1 drivers have shown immense excitement to be a part of the extravagant show at the Vegas strip. So much so that, Nico Rosberg, who departed from the sport about 7 years ago also wants to race at the Las Vegas GP.
Last year ahead of the inaugural Miami GP, the German released a video on his YouTube channel explaining how to master the track. During the video, he asked his fans which team should he come back with to race in Las Vegas GP. Although, none of the fans paid any heed to it in the comments section.
Despite his retirment, Rosberg has found a way to stay connected to the track and a way to show his love for automobiles. The 2016 world champion took up the role of F1 expert with Sky Sports and is also pretty active on his YouTube channel where he reviews the cars and and sometimes teaches how to master certain tracks on the F1 videogame.
Nico Rosberg answers fans question
In his video, after explaining how to master the Miami GP track, Rosberg answered some of the fan questions. One of the fan had asked “on a new track like Miami, how much time do the drivers spend in the simulator before first free practice.”
Rosberg explained that it depends on the drivers. Some of the drivers like Lewis Hamilton would dod a couple of hours and would be set to go for the freee practive, but other young drivers on the grid would probably take 2 days.
Sergio Perez should take inspiration from Nico Rosberg
Currently in the 2023 championship standings, Perez is only 6 points behind his 2-time world champion teammate Max Verstappen. Given the Red Bull’s insane pace, it is being speculated that if there were anyone who could challnege Verstappen for the title it would be Perez.
Having already taken 2 wins in the current season, this season could become one of the best chances for Perez to grab the title. But to do so, the Mexican star has been advised to take inspiration from Rosberg.
Anthony Davidson, former F1 driver has suggested that Perez should get under Verstappen’s skin as Rosberg got under Hamilton’s during their intense rivalry in the mid 2010s.
