Lewis Hamilton is undoubtedly among the all-time F1 greats. He declared that when he first arrived on the scene back in 2007, he took a Grand Prix win in his rookie season and was only one point shy from winning the title.

Getting a title in his rookie season would have been incredible. But the P2 in the standings isn’t even bad for a rookie. But he actually declared that he was in the F1 scene during the sixth race of that season.

F1 travelled to Canada, and Hamilton grabbed the pole position ahead of the race. The young Briton very comprehensively won the race and implied they had witnessed the start of something great.

F1 ticket from that race goes on sale

Setting an incredible flying lap in Q3, Hamilton saw himself at the pole position for the race on Sunday. McLaren must have been delighted as they got the front row locked with their cars. But few people knew they witnessed the first count of many more wins.

Thus, Canada is a special race for Hamilton. Though, the race wasn’t the less drama and had full carnage. But that performance by the boy from Stevenage was special.

Therefore, for fans, a memorable item from that race has just gone online for sale. On eBay, the ticket from that day’s qualifying has gone online, and the seller is demanding $1000. Worth spending this much on this rare souvenir.

What started in Canada transformed into a beast

Getting a Grand Prix win in the debut season is no easy task. But Hamilton did it, showing that something amazing had come in F1. He didn’t disappoint the expectations.

The Briton race driver next year went on to be the world champion. Straight in his sophomore year. Telling the world that F1 has received a new superstar. For the next five years, Hamilton couldn’t win another title.

However, when he got to Mercedes, who gave him the most dominant machinery, he went on a rampage. Now Hamilton has seven-world titles, and 103 Grand Prix wins.

Currently, he stands at the top of the food chain and doesn’t intend to stop. He is currently going through Mercedes to negotiate his new contract extension.
