Racing Point is looking forward to partnering their prince Lance Stroll with one of the two legends, if it does though, it will be a big coup for Racing Point.

Racing Point might push for either Sebastian Vettel or Fernando Alonso as per the report by Gazzetta Dello Sport, which believes Alonso and Vettel are fighting for the seat in the team.

The two multiple times world champions are free agents for next season. On one side, Alonso is currently not active, whereas Vettel is on his last season with Ferrari. As a result, teams are expected to jostle to get them on their driving seats.

At Renault, a spot is also available due to the domino effect that kicked in after Vettel announced his departure from Ferrari., which made Carlos Sainz relace him at Ferrari and Daniel Ricciardo replacing latter in McLaren.

Despite their uncertain futures both Vettel and Alonso don’t seem likely to end here, that leaves Aston Martin with a brilliant opportunity to offer them a contract.

Aston Martin coming in has made everything look possible, with the billions flowing from Stroll and the experience coming from Racing Point, they have in them to turn out to be dark horses in 2021.  The team has had a strong foundation since its Force India days.

Gazzetta also claims that the team is even prepared to say goodbye to Lance Stroll for it. It seems highly unlikely though, after all, he and Lawrence share the surname for a reason, which leaves seasoned Mexican Sergio Perez as the one to make way.

The only problem is that Perez signed a five-year contract last year. It would also cost Aston Martin a loss of 12 million a year that comes in as sponsorship income from Perez.

Adding further, Perez’s consistent performance, and it makes it really difficult to predict which two of the four would be driving the Aston Martins next season.
