Reason Why Max Verstappen Uses His $12,000,000 Private Jet to Give Lift to Other F1 Stars?

Max Verstappen is the owner of an ultra-luxurious private jet, which he uses to go from one place to another. Of course, he also uses it to get around different circuits during an F1 season but we’ve also seen him accommodate other F1 drivers in his jet.

Verstappen is the owner of a Falcon-900 EX private plane. He bought it from the founder of the Virgin Group, Richard Branson back in 2020, and has become one of the most recognizable private jets among athletes anywhere in the world.

The number of amenities that the private plane offers are tenfold, and costs a fortune. Verstappen, however, who is worth $200 million himself, doesn’t mind splurging the cash, as long as he gets to travel in style. Often, he also helps his fellow F1 drivers travel with him as well. We’ve seen the Dutchman give a lift to several other F1 drivers on the Falcon-900 EX jet, which costs $12,000,000 as per The Sun

Why Max Verstappen uses his luxury plane to help other drivers around?

Verstappen’s private jet has almost all modern features that help him travel from one place to another in luxury. Other than that, it also has an ample amount of space for himself, and about 8 to 12 people more.

As a result, when all the drivers are traveling from one race location to another, it makes sense for them to hop into Verstappen’s private jet. Together, the members of the traveling circus can travel long distances in luxury, as we’ve often seen them do.

The likes of Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz and Daniel Ricciardo have all traveled to different locations around the world on Verstappen’s private jet.

Inside Max Verstappen’s ultra-luxurious airplane

Private jets are meant to be luxurious and provide the owners with a comfortable and lavish travel experience. The fact that Verstappen’s jet was formerly owned by a billionaire makes it even more luxurious than most.

This $12,000,000 jet was manufactured in 2008. However, in 2020, Richard Branson sold it to Max Verstappen but it didn’t come cheap. To keep this plane, Verstappen reportedly has to pay a $1,000,000 a year.

The plane can accommodate upto 12 people, but the seats inside can be rolled into two large, fully flat beds. It also has tables where the passengers can eat, and a fully functional bar (incase Verstappen wants to celebrate a race win).
