“There’s a plan in place to do a handful of special”- Lando Norris claims that he would not be doing extravagant helmet display in 2021.

Lando Norris in 2020 presented some of the most iconic and heartful helmet designs. This year, fans were also looking forward to a special series of helmet designs by the McLaren race driver.

However, he has revealed that he wouldn’t be releasing an extensive number of helmets this year for his Grand Prix events. But still, there would be a few special features this year.

“While I’m not going to be doing quite as much this year, there’s a plan in place to do a handful of special, one-off helmet designs. We’re working on them at the moment, so watch this space!” he said.

Last year, FIA dropped the restriction on the number of helmet livery used by a race driver, which gave independence to drivers like Norris to experiment with their helmets and extended communication with fans.

“I’ve driven the MCL35M in the simulator, but I can’t give you any clues about what it’s like to drive. It feels like ages since the last race in Abu Dhabi; I can’t wait to go racing again and push one of the fastest cars on the planet to the limit,” he said.
