"What a mess"- Sebastian Vettel projects blame on Alfa Romeo for his Q1 exit

“What a mess”- Sebastian Vettel projects blame on Alfa Romeo for his early exit in Italian GP qualifying, adding into Ferrari’s embarrassment.

Ferrari is going through a miserable patch, at Monza people expected a better result from Spa, but now it seems that it is going all downhill for the Tifosi.

Sebastian Vettel faced an early exit from the qualifying in Q1, but as per Vettel, much blame goes onto Alfa Romeo, who allegedly spoilt the day for the German driver.

After Q1, Vettel said: “What a mess. Why did the Alfas have to overtake everyone and cause shit!” He further spoke to media about the unprecedented traffic on his way.

“The plan was to get a clean lap. That didn’t work out. Too many at the same place. Everyone started to overtake each other which resulted in chaos. I think we should have gone out later.”

“I am used to it. Already the last years here were shitty for me in qualifying because of the traffic.” he further said.

Ferrari’s situation in three words- “What a mess”

It’s a great embarrassment for the most historic team in Formula 1 to perform horrendously in their home country. On the other hand, their biggest rivals currently in F1- Mercedes have broken the all-time lap record of Formula 1.

The team has already admitted that the 2020 season is already over for them, but it’s humiliating to see it being outclassed like this. Therefore, Mattia Binotto might have to see the end of his time at Ferrari anytime soon.
