When 4-time world champion Sebastian Vettel shocked his fans by taking donkey for a walk

4-time world champion Sebastian Vettel announced his retirement from F1 after an illustrious 16-year career in F1. Since his announcement, numerous tributes have flooded bidding a happy farewell to the German driver.

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, with whom Vettel secured all his championship titles between 2010-2013, also shared an amusing donkey story while appreciating the 35-year-old for his endearing personality.

Vettel’s shenanigans like mimicking others and turning a press conference into a comedy show are not a mystery, but he also used to turn up in such situations away from the track.

Horner revealed that one time at his countryside farm Vettel turned up during the lambing season. The Germans wanted to get involved in the birth of the lambs. Vettel and the local farmer were trying to pull a couple of lambs out and the farmer had no idea who Sebastian was.

The German also took a couple of miniature donkeys out for a walk through the village and someone almost drove off the road wondering ‘Is that Sebastian Vettel with the Donkey from Shrek?’

Sebastian Vettel named Kimi Raikkonen as the biggest natural talent

During his time in F1, Vettel has driven with many big names such as Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton.

But in terms of raw speed, he believes that Kimi Raikkonen – whom he partnered with at Ferrari – was the biggest natural talent ever.

He said that even if there was a rule to switch cars every day, after 10 days Raikkonen would have lapped everyone just because he is so natural.

Raikkonen also took retirement from the sport at the end of the 2021 season after spending 19 years racing in F1.

Nico Rosberg compares Vettel to NFL legend Tom Brady

The 2016 champion thinks that if in future a strong team approaches Vettel with a fast car and asked him to return, he would come back.

Rosberg believes that there is a window of opportunity for the 4-time world champion to make a sensational comeback. The former Mercedes driver gave NFL legend Tom Brady as an example who returned from retirement just 40 days after his initial announcement.

Tom went through the whole thing and just after a month he came back so maybe Seb will do that as well, explained Rosberg.
