Yuki Tsunoda & Nyck de Vries Drop Jaws Around F1 World With Mind-Blowing Secret Talent: "This is Silly How the F*ck"

Being an F1 driver takes a level of skill and precision like no other. In other sports, there is a reasonable margin for error. In F1? make a slight mistake and you could lose, or worse yet, find yourself in a wall. Pierre Gasly practices his race by steering an imaginary wheel with his eyes closed. Max Verstappen can draw layouts perfectly from memory. Now, the AlphaTauri duo, Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries, show off their talent.

In a challenge posed by the team, de Vries and Tsunoda were provided with headphones as the sounds of them driving their cars around a track were played. The challenge was identifying the circuit correctly. Using the sounds of acceleration and braking, Tsunoda had two main takeaways. “Really bumpy” and “long straight.”

Going off these two observations, within 13 seconds, Tsunoda confidently identified the track as the Bahrain International Circuit. Those around him, including De Vries, were stunned at the driver’s agility and the accuracy of the answer.

De Vries had his moment as well, correctly identifying Silverstone in a whopping 10 seconds. The competition intensified as the final round presented a tie-breaker. Once again, de Vries took the cake, leaving a frustrated Tsunoda screaming “I knew it!” at the sounds of Baku.

Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries stun F1 fans

Rest assured, this almost impossible feat had fans more than impressed. As one fan summarized it, “This is wiiillllddddd.”

A commentary on their skills as drivers, Tsunoda and de Vries, hit the nail on the head with each guess. This didn’t go unseen by fans.

Fans were left in awe of the talent it takes to pull off what these two drivers just did. A fan aptly stated: “How the f*ck.”

Yuki Tsunoda has renewed trust in his team

Yuki Tsunoda acknowledges that his relationship with AlphaTauri has grown stronger since Pierre Gasly exited the doors. As a result of the uncertainties and challenges he faced throughout the year, Tsunoda finished 17th in the championship, with a mere 12 points in his pocket.

Having been given a chance this season despite the pitfalls, Tsunoda has a fresh perspective. Following Gasly’s move to Alpine, the Japanese driver looks to embrace the opportunity to step into a leadership position and establish stronger connections with the Red Bull-affiliated team.

“One of the things I was targeting for this year was to show my value to the team. Especially after Pierre [Gasly} left, you don’t want the team worrying that driver performance is not very good.”

Thus, with renewed spirit, Tsunoda takes on the challenge ahead of him. With a championship-winning teammate beside him, surely AlphaTauri can break their dry spell.
