Arsenal celebrated their victory against Manchester United in style, but were trolled for tagging their own stadium as ‘Dancefloor’.

Arsenal defeated Manchester United in the league game at Emirates last night. The Gunners are now fourth in the Premier League table with the win, while Manchester United have slipped to fifth.

Granit Xhaka opened the goalscoring for Arsenal as David De Gea committed a mistake in judging the ball. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed the three points with a late penalty goal.

The Arsenal players were upbeat about the side’s win over Manchester United, as it held huge significance in the race for the top-4.

However, Arsenal’s official Instagram account was trolled by various fans as they tagged their own stadium as ‘dancefloor’.

Arsenal and Dancefloor – What’s the story?

It all began in January earlier this year, when Jesse Lingard performed a moonwalk at the Emirates Stadium after scoring a goal in the FA Cup tie.

Manchester United won the game 3-1 and Lingard took to Instagram to celebrate the win. He tagged the location of the Emirates Stadium as ‘Dancefloor’, as he posted a picture of his moonwalk.

After Arsenal’s win against the side last night, Mesut Ozil, the Arsenal midfielder, wrote, “Dancefloor, huh!?”

Arsenal also posted a picture of Alexandre Lacazette showing his dance moves. However, they tagged the location of the stadium to ‘Dancefloor’ as well, seemingly as a strong reply to Lingard.

What next?

Arsenal will return to action on Thursday night as the side takes on Stade Rennes to overturn a 3-1 deficit.

Manchester United, meanwhile, will face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarterfinal of the FA Cup on the weekend.
