FC Goa match schedule 2018

TheSportsRush provides FC Goa match schedule 2018, as Sergio Lobera’s side eye their maiden ISL title this year.

The new season of the Indian Super League will kick-start from October 29, with Kolkata-based outfit ATK taking on Kerala Blasters at the Salt Lake Stadium.

FC Goa will aim for their first ISL title, after falling short of the trophy on numerous occasions. The Goa-based outfit reached the play-off round on three occasions in the last four years, but failed to lift the title. Sergio Lobera’s side will be keen to change the statistic for FC Goa this season.

FC Goa acquired the services of Miguel Palanca, who is one of their marquee signings this year, along with Jackichand Singh, who joined the club from Kerala Blasters. Palanca has plied his trade at clubs like Real Madrid, Espanyol, Elche, Numancia and Adelaide United, and his presence would open options for Lobera to further improve his attacking quality from the wings.

FC Goa will begin their ISL season away at NorthEast United on October 1. Here is the full list of their fixtures in the first half of the season:

1st October: NorthEast United FC (A) 7:30 PM

The fifth season of the Indian Super League will witness two international breaks in the first half, in October and November respectively. After the end of the first half, ISL will bave a preparation break for Indian/Asian players for the AFC Asian Cup 2019, to be held in the United Arab Emirates.
