FIFA shortlist the best team of the year for their performances over the last year.
FIFA hand over a token of award for the best eleven over the last year. Numerous players have performed at a high level, but only a few get to secure their name in the prestigious eleven.
It was an all-English domination in the European competition last year, with Liverpool lifting the Champions League and Super Cup, and Chelsea being crowned as the Europa League Champions. Additionally, the player’s form in the domestic leagues are also brought into account.
Copa America and African Cup of Nations (AFCON) are the international tournaments which took over in the summer. Club and country talent are brought into consideration to judge the best eleven.
We shall look at the FIFPRO Men’s World 11.
