Earlier this week, a Destiny 2 exploit was discovered, giving users infinite Legendary Shards. This week, Bungie shipped a fix for this and has now made another update with Hotfix 7.0.5.1. Additionally, a bunch of crashes on PS5 have been fixed that were introduced with the 7.0.5.0 update. The Daughters of Oryx encounter has been adjusted to prevent excessive flashing, a boon for players with photosensitive epilepsy. From cosmetic fixes to Raid changes, here’s a list of all fixes shipped with the Hotfix.

Infinite shards glitch patched
Acquired by dismantling Legendary weapons and armor, Legendary Shards are a rare resource in the game. However, last week, players found a way to get infinite shards by just spending Glimmer. Pulling this exploit off involved buying the Guardian Games 2022 armor and dismantling it for 4 legendary shards and most of the glimmer invested. While this bug was exploited for a bit, Bungie was quick to patch the loophole, preventing players from breaking the economy. These glitches have existed in the past and Bungie isn’t known for banning users for exploits like these.
