Riot Games will introduce a new Event Pass to celebrate the third Valorant Champions tournament in 2023. Players can claim free rewards through this separate limited-time Event Pass for the shooter.
The international tournament, Valorant Champions 2023, will be kicking from August 6 this year and will be hosted in Los Angeles. In celebration of the event, the developers added a new Vandal and melee bundle themed on the VCT. However, free alternate rewards will be distributed to players who won’t buy this exclusive bundle.
The upcoming free Event Pass will have seven levels, consisting of Sprays, Player Cards, and more rewards to claim. To highlight these rewards in detail, we have compiled this article stating everything we know about the Champions Event Pass for the shooter game.
About Valorant Champions 2023 Event Pass and how to claim
The Valorant Champions Event Pass will release in the game on August 4 and last till August 29, 2023. To be more precise, the limited-time progression system will stay till 2 pm PT on the ending date. Players can progress this Event Pass by playing the game and gaining XP to level up. The progression rewards featured with this event are listed below:
- Level 1: Happy Octopus (Spray)
- Level 2: Tearjerker (Player Title)
- Level 3: 10 Radianite Points (Used to upgrade skins)
- Level 4: Champions Squad (Limited-time Player Card)
- Level 5: One More (Player Title)
- Level 6: 10 Radianite Points (Used to upgrade skins)
- Level 7: Octobuddy (Gun Buddy)

Players have to earn XP like the existing Battle Pass to claim these rewards. However, the Champions Event Pass progression would advance separately from the Battle Pass. So when players earn XPs from matches, these progression systems will grow together without deductions.
Total XP required and early look at items
In a recent leak from Shiick, it has been found that the upcoming Event Pass requires 90,400 XP to unlock all seven tiers. Additionally, the leaker also provided an early look at the player card, gun buddy, and spray that will be included with the free pass.

The Champions Squad Play Card features Agents like Gekko, Harbor, Killjoy, Yoru, and Raze with the event cup in the center. A cute octopus gun buddy and spray are also added with the free pass as well. All these assets have been recently featured in the Valorant Champions Anthem video which was recently unveiled.
