Capcom‘s premier 2D fighter returns this June with Street Fighter 6. A month and a half ahead of release, the Japanese publisher has launched a demo for the fighting game. Players on PS4 and PS5 can access the demo right now while Xbox and PC users will have to wait another week. The new demo allows players to test out two characters and the new Avatar creator for the game. Here’s where to download it and what it contains.

- Note that you cannot use any online features in this demo.
- The Battle Hub is not included in this demo.
- Some menu features are restricted in this demo.
The Xbox Series X/S and Steam will go live from April 26 at 12:00 AM PDT. Capcom has confirmed that Avatars created during the demo will transfer to the full game. As long as players stay on the same platform and don’t delete their saves, their Avatars will remain intact.

Street Fighter 6 comes out on all platforms on June 2, 2023. With the demo, Capcom has also provided a character roadmap that sees A.K.I, Rashid, Ed, and Akuma added by Spring 2024.
