There are many challenges to overcome in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and one of them is the Tokiy Shrine. Here is everything fans need to know related to this in-game location.
Following the latest trend of adding shrines in Zelda titles, Tears of the Kingdom also feature some of them. These are small dungeon-like areas where Link can get the Light of Blessing, an important in-game item that allows Link to upgrade his Heart Container or Stamina Wheel. Further, there are tricky quests to complete that help Link master his new Ultrahand.
The Tokiy Shrine is one of the many shrines featured in the new Legend of Zelda title. Link should not skip this area since unlocking all shrines would reward him with the legendary Ancient Hero’s Aspect armor. This unique in-game item will give a +12 boost to Link’s defense.
Tokiy Shrine location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
There are 152 shrines in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. They all are scattered across the surface and sky islands of the Hyrule Kingdom. Tokiy Shrine is located near the Oakle’s Navel in the West Necluda region and is one of the hardest to find. The shrine’s precise coordinates are 2300, -2379, -0028.
Unlike most shrines in the game, what makes it difficult is that Link first needs to unlock it. To access this shrine, fans must first finish the “Oakle’s Navel Cave Crystal” quest.
Follow these steps to unlock the Tokiy Shrine:
Go inside The Oakle’s Navel Cave to start the quest of unlocking Tokiy Shrine.
Pick up the green crystal on the pedestal and follow the green light beam it emits.
Follow the light beam until Link stumbles across a boulder rolling down his path. Then use the Recall ability to send it back.
When Link reaches the end of the light beam, drop the green crystal to enter the shrine and complete the “Oakle’s Navel Cave Crystal” quest.
How to complete the shrine challenge?
The Tokiy Shrine is different compared to others in Tears of the Kingdom. It also has a shrine challenge like others called “Rauru’s Blessing“. But this shrine stands out cause Link doesn’t need to solve any puzzles or fight enemies to complete this shrine challenge.
The Zelda protagonist just needs to walk straight into the shrine, where he will get access to the Treasure Chest and the Light of Blessing. Once both items are retrieved, this shrine challenge will be over.
