Valorant Lotus Map Guide

Episode 6 of Valorant has introduced the ninth map of the game, Lotus. Lotus is a three-site map and knowing how to attack and defend each site here is the key to winning. The map takes inspiration from the Western Ghats of India. During the first phase of Episode 6, Lotus will be available in Swiftplay and afterwards in Unrated and Competitive queues.

Knowing how this huge map works is crucial. Here is a quick and easy Valorant Lotus map guide.

The map is filled with 3 spike sites and a bunch of angles that need to be checked before either of the two sides enter it. While sites A and C have a few angles, it is site B that can be difficult for the offense to handle.

To have the call outs and angles handy is one way to go about in the new map. Once they are memorized, playing the map becomes an easy task.

Playing as attacker

A Site

The whole map is extremely similar to the other maps, making it easier to understand. A Top and A drop here is similar to Hookah and B Long of Bind. So, the same strategic moves as Bind are to be followed.

B Site

B is the toughest Site to attack. It is also strategically the most significant one. Areas like B Upper, C Link, and A Link are of utmost importance since they help defenders peek from those angles. Agents that use smoke will be crucial during a situation in which defenders have an upper hand.

C Site

Checking C Main and C Mound will be crucial if the players have decided to push from there. The angles here can be extremely useful to Jett players.

Playing as defender

A Site

Players have to keep in mind the two main entry points: A Tree and A-Main. If these are blocked by agents like Killjoy then winning the round becomes easier.

B Site

B Site is the toughest for attackers and moderately tough for defenders. Once players have an agent that could smoke B Main, defending B Site becomes easy.

C Site

Since the C site doesn’t have a lot of entry points, it becomes very easy for players to defend it. If played properly, C Site could be the reason why crucial rounds can be won.
