Georginio Wijnaldum goal vs Barcelona: Liverpool midfielder scores two to put Liverpool level with Barcelona, erasing the lead from Nou Camp
Liverpool are putting on a show at Anfield, with Georgino Wijnaldum at the helm of it, scoring two goals in as many minutes to wipe off Barcelona’s advantage from the first leg.
Wijnaldum came on as a substitute for an injured Robertson. And Gini has absolutely sent the home fans into a frenzy, scoring two brilliant goals to make the score 3-0 on the night and 3-3 on aggregate.
For the first goal, Wijnaldum made a late run into the box, one where none of the defenders picked him up. He then shot it straight at Ter Stegen, who couldn’t sort his hands out and thereby let the ball get past him and into the back of the net.
Anfield believed at that point and you could almost sense that Liverpool were going to come back at them once again. And they did, right after, with Wijnaldum heading home and erasing that Barcelona advantage.
The cross was beautifully put into the box with Wijnaldum rising high and handsomely before heading it home for Liverpool. The Liverpool bench was off and went wild in their celebrations, showing the world that they believed that they could go onto win it.

Barcelona need to score once in order to put this game to bed, but a goal from Liverpool now could deflate Barcelona spirits. Messi has been a absentee in the second half and will need to find his magic in order to put Barcelona through. Liverpool are going strong and it is making for some brilliant viewing for the Liverpool faithful.
