GER vs SPA Dream11 Prediction : Dream11 Fantasy Tips for Germany vs Spain in FIH Pro League

GER vs SPA Dream11 Prediction Team: Germany look to continue their quest for a top 4 spot when they take on languishing Spain

Managing to scrape past New Zealand 4-3 in the penalty shoot-out on Sunday, the German hockey side are back to business come Monday. The win saw them not only maintain pace with Argentina who are level on points with them but also keep snapping at Great Britain’s heels who currently occupy the number 4 spot with 18 points.

What the win did to Germany was make it four consecutive wins for them and continue their incredible narrative this edition of the FIH Pro League. After falling to defeats in their opening matches, Germany have now registered four straight wins with the latest seeing them show composure in the face of adversary and come out with an important 2 points.

For their opponents Spain, the tournament has been far from fortuitous though. The side are yet to win a match in normal time with all their five wins coming in penalty shoot-outs, seeing them put on just 10 points infront of their points column. The season is all but over for them and in Germany they face a resurgent side who won’t be leaving any stone unturned in putting on the most articulate of showings.

Probable Winner

With only 2 wins in their previous five outings, Spain head into this encounter in average form. Their main aberration has been in the backline with the side leaking goals by the minute to concede a humongous 35 till now. They’ve been calamitous at the back and we don’t see them getting any better.

Playing in the league after a period of one month, Spain take on a German side who have been functioning perfectly in the past couple of weeks. They’ve managed to iron out the persistent issues biting them in the back and look way too strong for Spain. At the end of the night, we expect this to be a high scoring match, one where Germany will manage to outscore Spain.

Goal-Keeper for GER vs SPA Dream11

Spain’s Cortes comes into our side for this one. The shot stopper has been nailed down by his side for this position and could well spring up an important few saves on the night.

Defenders for GER vs SPA Dream11

Germany have let slip in 6 goals in their previous two matches, the most recent seeing last placed New Zealand score two against them in the second half to restore parity at 3-3. And with Spain hardly being any more better in this facet, we are going to be brining in only the three defenders.

Martin and Mathias are going to be our two defensive players from Germany. Despite letting in 3 against NZ, they still managed to get  respectable tally of points with their vital blocks and could be at it again against Spain. From Spain it’s going to be only Enrique who we accord enough faith in to put on a reasonably solid show.

Midfielders for GER vs SPA Dream11

Wellen, Herzbruch and Oruz will compose a three man midfield line-up for us. We’ve included all the key figures in their formation with us fully seeing them control the middle part of the ground and put up a resolute wall to screen the backline and restrict Spain’s forwards.

Joan Tares is the lone pick we have decided to select from Spain.

Forwards for GER vs SPA Dream11

While Germany do concede, what has resulted in their sensational turnaround is the fact that they manage to score in good quantities as well. This sees us pick up both Fuchs and Mats from their line-up with us envisioning the duo to emulate the same performance they doled out against New Zealand.

Quemada from Spain is going to complete our Dream 11 side for this particular encounter.

Captain And Vice-Captain

We’ve decided to hand over the captain’s mantle to Fuchs while Quemada is going to be our vice-captain.
