Hardik Pandya-Ravindra Jadeja’s 150-run partnership: The Indian all-rounder scored individual half-centuries to power India to 302/5 in 50 overs.

During the third ODI of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia in Canberra, India all-rounders in Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja put on display a 150-run partnership to power the team to 302-5 after being reduced to 152/5 in the 32nd over.

Coming in to bat at No. 6 in the 26th over, Pandya’s first boundary came off the 30th delivery that he faced. With India losing captain Virat Kohli (63) by then, the onus was entirely on Pandya and Jadeja as the duo didn’t disappoint yet again in this series.

Before the start of the last 10 overs, Pandya had scored another couple of boundaries in addition to his and Jadeja’s brilliant running between the wickets. It was on the second delivery of the 44th over when Pandya ran a single off Australia all-rounder Moises Henriques to complete his half-century.

Playing his first match of the series, Australia pacer Sean Abbott bowling the 46th over saw him getting hit for a couple of fours and a six by Pandya. In the following over bowled by Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood, Pandya hit a couple of huge sixes to up the ante as required.

By the same time, Jadeja also find his touch as the southpaw thwacked three sixes and a four in the next over which was bowled by Abbott. Successfully finishing on a high note, Pandya scored his a career-best 92* (76) with the help of seven fours and a six.

Jadeja, on the other hand, scored a well-paced 66* (50) with the help of five fours and three sixes.
