Harry Kane keen on a potential move to Manchester United following Tottenham’s poor season that could see them miss out on the Champions League.
Manchester United have made a comeback of sorts in recent weeks. With Bruno Fernandes in the side, they look like a much more spirited outfit and have now gone 8 games unbeaten in all competitions. However, there are still some areas that need improvement.

The one area that needs to be looked urgently is the striker’s position. They have played Anthony Martial as a stop-gap striker season and the Frenchman has done reasonably well. However, if the club are to succeed, they will need a natural number 9 who has all the instincts of a top goal scorer; something that Martial has only shown in patches.
Harry Kane keen on a potential move to Manchester United
Fortunately for the Red Devils, it seems that a perfect player is now well within their grasp. According to Goal.com, England’s number one striker, Harry Kane is keen to join Manchester United this summer. With an overhaul waiting Tottenham, the forward is said to not want to be part of the rebuild.
Missing out on Champions League next season, which they look likely to do so, will only further disillusion the English man. United’s chances of landing Harry Kane in the summer could be significantly improved if Mauricio Pochettino becomes their manager.
However, he currently has a contract with Tottenham until 2024. This will give Daniel Levy the leverage to demand a hefty for his star player. Stadium debt and the threat of missing out on the Champions League means that Spurs could be working with a reduced transfer budget, with reports suggesting it could be as little as £50 million ($64m). The sale will go a long way in helping secure more players in the summer towards their rebuild.
