Being the first person in almost a decade to outscore Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in a single calendar year, Harry Kane has certainly entered a new league in world football. In addition to this, Kane broke Alan Shearer’s long-standing record of most PL goals in the last calendar year, as he reached the zenith of his career so far.

The year 2017 was no less than a miracle for Harry Kane as he scored 56 goals in 52 games in for Spurs and England in 2017 – the most among players in top five leagues amongst Messi: 54 in 64, Ronaldo: 53 in 60, Cavani: 53 in 62, and Lewandowski 53 in 55.

With such an amazing record at the age of 24, some of the biggest clubs would obviously come knocking. And it is Real Madrid who are now interested in Harry Kane, as Los Blancos are in the market for a star striker.

According to The Times, Real Madrid are set to smash the current world record transfer fee set by Neymar by offering £200 million for the services of the 24 year old. Reports already suggesting that Florentino Perez wants a new attacking option in place of Karim Benzema, with the Tottenham striker a lucrative option for the Bernabeu outfit.

Real are understood to offer the superstar a weekly wage of around £200,000 to come to the Bernabeu, with Neymar, Eden Hazard and Robert Lewandowski have also been tipped to join the possible revolution.

However, all rumors said, sources also claim chairman David Levy is adamant on keeping Kane at least for the next season, where Tottenham will shift in to their newly made White Hart Lane. So for the moment, Spurs fans can hold their breath as both Kane and Pochettino are going nowhere.
