Tencenet gaming buddy relases PUBG Lite for the lower end phones. Here’s how it is different from PUBG Mobile and how to download it.
With the release of PUBG Lite, Tencent gaming buddy have extended their audience even further, as people with lower end phones can also play the game, which was not the similar case earlier.
PUBG has been able to control a major section of the Indian gaming fraternity, as it made everyone fall in love with the game because of its console style of gaming.
However, because of its superior features, the game used to amass a whooping 2-GB storage usually. Thus, only phones with the cost of above 12,000 INR, were able to run it.
Leaving, a huge amount of its target audience out of the reach, but now the Chinese company worked upon it, and have made a lighter version for the lower-end phones, which would only take around 400 MB storage, named as PUBG Lite.
How it is different from PUBG Mobile
Over the time PUBG’s graphics has developed massively, in comparison to its initial days. PUBG Lite current graphics looks exactly similar to the ones used in the initial days of its predecessor.
PUBG Lite surely doesn’t look as good as the main game. It seems as if someone whitewashed the graphics and textures before releasing it. The ground colour is not as pleasing as it is in the other game.
After playing PUBG MOBILE, it wouldn’t seem enjoyable. The awesome weather effects from the main game are also absent here to reduce the phone requirements.
However, once we consider that this meant for a phone with 2GB RAM, the graphics start to make sense. PUBG Lite with its low-resolution textures works wonderfully fast.
Move around the camera even in the most crowded places and the game never drops frames. The graphics are just bare basics – all you need to get the PUBG experience.

Erangel is the only map available at the moment and despite featuring whitewashed graphics and textures, it is still an interesting place to hunt down enemies.
To keep the game running smoothly, some of the most detailed actions have been erased to reduce the load on resources. Hence, the game skips features like gun recoil, effects of wind on bullets and other minor details.
Even the special effects such as the blood splattering, body language of the character formation have been diluted to keep the stress on the resources low.
Moreover, there are guns available in the huge number, but the lack of ammunition is a big concern, but it is also added by considering the fact that the game requires the player to shoot more bullets in order to kill an enemy – this is done to give the prey a standing chance to flee.
In all PUBG Lite is not a bad game, considering it has been optimized to be served on phones with low RAM and storage, and cost around 6,000 INR. The overall product does justice considering the above conditions, as the game runs smoothly.
How to download PUBG Lite apk
