How did Bill Clinton get mentioned at The Game Awards 2022?

While no one knows how the offender got on stage, it seems like they decided to accompany the Elden Ring team to the stage and his identity was not questioned by anyone.

When the Game of the Year winner was announced, this unnamed person walked to the stage with the FromSoftware crew and was seen in the background during the acceptance speech.

Just as the Elden Ring entourage was about to depart, he hopped on the mic to say:

“You know, real quick, I want to thank everybody and say that I want to nominate this award to my reformed orthodox rabbi Bill Clinton. Thank you everybody.”

Soon after, he was seen being escorted off stage by security and the ceremony soon came to an end. The host of the awards, Geoff Keighley was seen shocked at what transpired.

After the event, Keighley tweeted that the person has been arrested but didn’t reveal their identity.

According to Keighley, the prankster was arrested by Los Angeles Police Department. Before the miscreant could steal the show, fans waited with bated breath to see who would win the GOTY award between Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok. Elden Ring managed to take the win, along with three other awards.
