AU-W vs NZ-W Dream11 Prediction : Australia Women vs New Zealand Women Best Dream 11 Team for ICC Women World Cup 2020 Match

IN-W vs NZ-W Dream11 Prediction: India will look to continue their winning run against New Zealand after beating Australia and New Zealand in the first two matches.

The Indian colts will be high on confidence when they meet New Zealand in their 3rd game of the Women’s T20 World Cup and given the performance they have produced in the last two matches, India will be the favourites for this clash. Courtesy of exceptional wrist spin bowling by Poonam Yadav, India managed to beat tournament favourites Australia and then made light work of a resurgent Bangladesh unit.

The form of teenage sensation Shafali Verma has been the talking point of the tournament. The dasher has looked in stupendous touch in both the games. However, she hasn’t been able to covert his exceptional starts into an innings of substance. Smriti Mandhana is expected to be back for the match after missing the match against Bangladesh owing to a viral infection.

Meanwhile, New Zealand is no pushovers and should look to put India under pressure. They survived a major scare against Sri Lanka and eventually registered a convincing victory. Sophie Devine played a match-winning knock but not before she was dropped twice. Their bowling department will look to put India under the pump. In all likelihood, we should witness a competitive match tomorrow.

Pitch Conditions and Toss

The pitch at the Junction Oval in Melbourne has been an unpredictable one which was quite evident during the tri-series. While India chased down 173 against Australia in one of the matches, the home team defended 132 and 155 twice. Hence it will be difficult to predict whether the team winning the toss would bat or field.

5 must-have players in the dream XI team

Shafali Verma, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Sophie Devine, Amelia Kerr

IN-W vs NZ-W Dream11 Wicket-keepers

Taniya Bhatia will be the sole wicket-keeper in our dream XI team. Bhatia has been quite exceptional behind the stumps and her glovework has impressed all and sundry. She comes in the latter half of the batting order but is a sensible batswoman who can chip in with some important runs at the later stages.

IN-W vs NZ-W Dream11 Batswomen

Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana will be the first players in this category. Mandhana will be back for this match and given her form and exceptional hitting abilities, she will walk into any dream XI team.

On the other hand, Shafali has taken the tournament by storm with whirlwind knocks against Australia and Bangladesh. If she manages to hold herself back at crucial junctures, she might well go onto become one of the very best in world cricket.

Suzie Bates will be the next batter in the dream XI team. Bates has been one of the most consistent run-scorers for New Zealand and will look to get into the action against a strong Indian team.

IN-W vs NZ-W Dream11 All-rounders

Sophie Devine, Deepti Sharma, H Jenson and Amellia Kerr will be the Four all-rounders in our dream XI team. Devine was at her imperious best against the Lankans and was the top scorer with a knock of 75 which eventually helped New Zealand chase the target down with utmost ease.

Deepti Sharma has been the most consistent all-round performer for India. She always chips in with important runs and is a good off-spinner to have in the team. She can bowl in the powerplay and should be an important member of the dream XI team.

Amellia Kerr is a good all-round player but her batting record in T20I’s isn’t great. She has an ODI double hundred which proves she is a fierce striker of the ball. She is also a wicket-taking option and bagged two crucial wickets against Sri Lanka in the opening clash.

IN-W vs NZ-W Dream11 Bowlers

Poonam Yadav, Shikha Pandey  and L Tahuhu will be the three bowlers in our dream XI team. Poonam has been the lynchpin for India in the two matches so far bagging 7 wickets in two matches. She finished with match-winning figures of 4/18 and also bagged 3 crucial wickets against Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, Shikha Pandey has impressed with the new ball and also in the death overs. She will look to keep up the good work and bowl India to another victory. The last player in this list is L Tahuhu who is a relatively inexperienced player but could turn out to be a wild card option in the dream XI team.

Captain and Vice-captain

Sophie Devine will be the captain of the day while Poonam Yadav will be the vice-captain.
