Mumbai vs RCB Head to Head Record in IPL History

Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns against one another for the second time in the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League. Played over five weeks ago, the last match between these two fierce rivals had resulted in RCB sealing a 172-run chase with over three overs remaining in the match.

A 148-run opening partnership between former captain Virat Kohli and captain Faf du Plessis was enough to outperform MI batter Tilak Varma‘s one-man show. While that was the first match of the season for both the teams, they find themselves in crunch positions on the points table ahead of their 11th match of the season.

In spite of winning the last four matches in a row against Indians, Royal Challengers still trail behind by some margin in Mumbai vs RCB Head to Head Records in IPL History. As a matter of fact, Bangalore lack behind across facets including playing at the Wankhede Stadium.

Although RCB had played at this iconic venue last year as well, they will be facing MI here after a four-year gap. The last time they had defeated Mumbai at this stadium was eight years ago. That contest is fondly remembered for Kohli and AB de Villiers registering the second-highest partnership in the IPL.
