'Incredible shot': Sachin Tendulkar in awe of Prithvi Shaw's glorious six off Navdeep Saini in DC vs RCB IPL 2020 match

Prithvi Shaw’s glorious six: The opening batsman from Delhi Capitals went all guns blazing at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium tonight.

During the 19th match of the ongoing 13th season of the Indian Premier League between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dubai, Delhi Capitals opening batsman Prithvi Shaw started attacking the opposition bowlers from the word go.

After Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bowl, Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan accumulated 63 runs in the powerplay to give a breathtaking start to their team.

It was Shaw who started the boundary galore by hitting Royal Challengers all-rounder Isuru Udana for as many as three boundaries in the first over itself.

It was on the fourth delivery of the third over when Shaw made room to lift RCB spearhead Navdeep Saini for a glorious six over the cover region to amaze one and all including legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar.

To continue his authority against RCB spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, Shaw hit him for a four and six in the fifth over to keep up with the run rate.

Shaw’s innings was eventually brought to a halt by Bangalore pacer Mohammed Siraj. Bowling his first over in IPL 2020, Siraj was successful in dismissing Shaw behind the wickets. The 20-year old batsman ended up scoring 42 (23) with the help of five fours and two sixes.
