IND vs WI Dream11 Team Prediction: India vs West Indies Dream 11 Team Picks for 3rd T20I

IND vs WI Dream11 Team Prediction: The host nation would be looking to avoid a whitewash in the third T20I against India.

The third T20I of the ongoing India’s tour of West Indies will be played tomorrow at Province Stadium in Guyana. The match will be a dead-rubber for India have already gained an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

However, a lot still remains to be seen with respect to the combination of both the teams. Despite India winning the series, they themselves would be aware about the fact that their performance in both the matches (especially first) could have been better.

In a bid to whitewash the opposition, India would be eager to register their best performance of the series tomorrow in a match where they would also want to give the reserves a chance.

On the other hand, West Indies will be aiming to register their first win of the series. While the same will save their pride, it will also be a confidence-booster for them ahead of the three-match ODI series.

Pitch conditions and Toss

The first and the last time a T20I was played at the Province Stadium in Guyana was during the ICC World Twenty20 2010. In the six T20Is played in Guyana so far, the highest score registered is 191/5 and the lowest one is 68. An average run rate of 6.57 suggests that we might be in line for another low-scoring encounter. If not a low-scoring, don’t expect teams to score in vicinity of 200 runs.

Out of the five results possible in Guyana, the team batting second came out as victorious on three occasions. Guess that might give you a hint regarding what will the captain who wins the toss does.

3rd T20 India vs West Indies Dream 11 Picks

Wicket-keepers for IND vs WI Dream11

Much like the first ODI, I have once again selected a couple of wicket-keeper batsmen in West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran and India’s Rishabh Pant. Agreed that both the batsmen are yet to fire in the series, but batsmen of their nature can come good on any given time.

The fact that both of them bat in the Top Four is a sign enough for me to pick them. Furthermore, the benefit of having wicket-keepers in your team is the better probability of their dual contribution for you.

Batsmen for IND vs WI Dream11

I have yet again persisted with the same bunch of batsmen. In Kieron Pollard, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli lie my three batsmen for tomorrow. While Sharma scored his 17th T20I half-century last night, Kohli missed out on another opportunity. Here is hoping for him to score big this time round.

Considering the composure which senior West Indian batsman Kieron Pollard has shown in his two outings, there seem very less reasons for not picking him in my Dream11 fantasy squad.

All-rounders for IND vs WI Dream11

Been among the wickets in both the matches, get India all-rounder Krunal Pandya in your squad for this match as well. If the situation arises, the southpaw might just score some runs in the business end of the Indian innings to accumulate more points for you.

While I don’t expect it to happen but if India rest Pandya, be alert at the toss and chose any one out of Ravindra Jadeja or Washington Sundar.

Coming in to bat at No. 4 in a pressure situation, West Indies all-rounder Rovman Powell played a dominant hand in a 76-run partnership with Pooran. In what was his second T20I half-century, Powell ended up scoring 54 (34) with the help of six fours and three sixes. Get him in as well!

Bowlers for IND vs WI Dream11

Having picked four wickets in two matches at an average of 11.25, an economy rate of 5.62 and a strike rate of 12, West Indies new ball bowler Sheldon Cottrell is currently the highest wicket-taker in the series. On the back of his impressive performance, Cottrell has made it to my Dream11 team for the first time in this series.

The fact that the hosts sent Sunil Narine to open the batting yesterday means that I will continue to back him. If he gets going at the top of the order, he might fetch you plentiful extra points.

While I have Navdeep Saini in my team, I am presuming that India will rest pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar in a dead-rubber. Deepak Chahar would be a like-to-like replacement for Bhuvneshwar in both the Indian team and my Dream11 team.

If India continue with Bhuvneshwar, do include him even if Chahar plays. In such a situation, swapping Keemo Paul with Cottrell will give you the required credits to acquire Bhuvneshwar’s services.
