India vs England 3rd Test Day 5 highlights, as the Indian team delivers a thumping win against England at Trent Bridge.

A stoic last wicket partnership between Adil Rashid and Jimmy Anderson meant that 22 men, the support staff of both teams and a few fans had to once again travel to the Trent Bridge stadium in order to witness the inevitable.
India needed one wicket to bring down the series deficit to 2-1 and that did not take much long as Ashwin bowled a brilliant carom ball/leg spinner, one that bounced and wrapped Anderson on the gloves, with the ball ballooning up and presenting Rahane with a rather easy catch.
Virat Kohli and co. would be mighty relieved to have won this game. A 2-0 deficit and a thumping win for England at Lord’s meant that a whitewash was on the cards.
However, with this win, India have kept themselves alive in this series and have presented themselves with a rare chance of winning a series in England.
The momentum is with India and with Rahul, Kohli, Rahane, Pant, Pandya, Ishant and Bumrah firing in this game, it seems like India have the required pedigree to win this Test series.
This is how Twitter reacted:
Well done! Congratulations to the Indian cricket team on the resounding win at Trent Bridge. Great team effort to win this after being 2-0 down, must be an exciting remaining 2 test matches . Best wishes.

In tests SENA countries
Ganguly – 2 wins
Dhoni – 3 wins
Kohli – 2 winsKohli would end up with atleast 4 by the end of Aus tour
So either all of u agree with me that captaincy is most overrated thing in cricket.
Or
Kohli is the greatest indian captain already.#ENGvIND— cricket freak (@cricloverakku) August 22, 2018

Many congratulations to the Indian team on the victory at Trent Bridge. They showed a lot of character after being 2-0 down and am very happy with the way most of the batsmen applied themselves, and the bowlers were clinical too. Well deserved ! #ENGvIND
