These medals would have been very sweet for Gurjar as he could not participate in last year’s Rio Paralympics due to late reporting to the arena. But he banished those memories with a superb performance today to make his country proud.

The third gold medal was won by Narendra Ranbir. He secured the first position in the Javelin Throw F-44 with a high score of 47.75m. This score was confirmed by the Paralympic Committee of India. (Indian Para athletes win big at the IPC Athletics Grand Prix)
